Amherst Presbyterian Preschool is a Christian based program founded with the belief that preschool age children thrive in a positive, nurturing environment with ample opportunities for learning, exploration and discovery. We provide a theme-based curriculum designed to help children develop skills and concepts that will help to ease the transition from preschool to school. APP follows the Amherst County Public School calendar including inclement weather; we do not offer a summer program. We are a licensed facility regulated by the Virginia Department of Education. We are excited to offer new operating hours.  Amherst Presbyterian Preschool has been providing over 38 years of quality early childhood education to our community.
