Welcome to Amherst Presbyterian Church, a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Since 1831, we have been at work in our community, seeking to be the instruments of mission for the God who gave himself to the world and for the world in Jesus Christ. We are in prayer with God, in fellowship with one another, and in service to our community.

We have Worship, Choir, Bible Studies, Sunday School, work projects, local mission activities, Presbyterian Women's groups, a weekday Nursery School, and a place for you. We invite you to join us on the journey of faith, as you discover your ministry through common prayer, worship, praise, study, service and fellowship.

Adult Sunday school meets at 9:45 on Sunday morning in the Pastor's study. Sunday School for the children and youth takes place during the last portion of worship.

As part of the Amherst 100th birthday celebration, Amherst Presbyterian Church held a homecoming supper after church on June 13th.  Our iron kettle experts made a few big pots of Brunswick stew, and many friends and family came to help us celebrate. Everyone had a grand time.
